Lenovo SuperFish issues
With the recent news about Lenovo selling laptops with Superfish installed the security of computers has come into question. Superfish is an advertising engine that behaves like a malware program in such a way it targets everything you do on the internet. What has been found out though it Superfish can and does steal your information, usernames and passwords typed into the Pc with this program installed.
How it does this is by creating fake certificates for websites that you visit and as a result makes all browsing unsafe. The fake certificates though use the same password across all pcs infected with the program and as a result if left on the computer and not removed it could be used to access this information.
We suggest removing this program, deleting the certificates used by this software and changing all passwords to be on the safe side if your pc or laptop is infected with this software.
